My name is Troy Ault, a Columbus based Premier Field Engineer with Microsoft. I have over 15 years experience with SQL Server, DB2 and Oracle. Most applications I have supported over the years have been large scale OLTP databases with a web front end. My specialty is HA/DR solutions, such as clustering and AlwaysOn availability groups, and automation of DBA tasks. As a result of many sleepless nights due to an on-call production DBA role, I have a passion for automating tasks to prevent issues from occurring.
