Michael Sawczyn is the Principal Software Architect at Halcyon Solutions in their .NET Practice Group.He has been in computer science for over 20 years. He’s taught undergraduate computer science at Franklin University for 10 of those years, and was a constant on the conference circuit speaking on topics ranging from object-oriented design to distributed object computing. Michael also served as Chief Information Officer for both the Ohio Treasury and the Ohio Attorney General’s office, as well as being the CIO at the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.
Lately he was involved in driving the adoption of electronic medical records in Ohio as Chief Privacy and Security Officer for CliniSync, Ohio’s health information exchange, and now helps clients enhance their technology portfolio and streamline their businesses as Principal Software Architect at Halcyon Solutions in their Microsoft Solutions Practice.
