Quicken Loans’ open source Rock Framework (http://github.com/rockframework) helps your engineers by tackling common cross-cutting concerns like logging, security, messaging, and more.

In today’s demo packed session we’re going to look at an overview of how Rock Framework works, how you can start using it, and some of the conventions it uses. We’ll look at some of the time saving goodness within the framework like Rock.Logging, Rock.Core, Rock.StaticDependencyInjection and some other packages like XSerializer we’ve released. We’ll also look ahead at what’s coming in the future.

Rock Framework has brought us (@QLTechnology) a lot of benefits over the years and we are excited to finally share this publicly. This is also a framework that will be around: our production systems are migrating to this open source version and we have a team of engineers dedicated to making it better.
