Load testing can provide the information to help development teams achieve these goals, and yet many developers assume that load testing is out of reach – too difficult, time-consuming or costly. We’ll walk through the tooling in detail to see how to build web performance tests and load tests, as well as the various ways to execute them. We’ll talk about the various types of tests you can run to determine how your application performs under various loads, so that you have the information to scale (or auto-scale) your app optimally.
