As many businesses have made the investment in either SharePoint on/off premise or O365 use of the Business Data Catalogue (BDC)/ Business Connectivity Services (BCS) can provide immediate value to many organizations. This talk will cover the dos and don’ts of implementing solutions using Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer and third party applications like Lightning Tools BDC MetaMan. The goal of this talk is to come out with a functional understanding of the components of a BDC project and knowing when it’s the right tool for the job.
