We have all seen countless numbers of companies that have reams and reams of BCP (business continuity planning) that is so burdensome and filled with vague but accepted legal and industry terminology and jargon that no one ever reads it, implements it, or gets any real value from it. When a disruption occurs the BCP lies dusty in the BCP Director’s or incident manager’s office while the IT staff scrambles to get the systems operational.
